Slang term for a member of the LDS faith. Refers to the vision of Nephi in Nephi Book 1 Chapter 8. Can be combined with "Joey" to make "pole-touchin' Joeys."

"Here, have some of my homebrew."
"No thanks."
"Why, are you a pole-toucher or something?"

"Mom, can I watch an R-rated movie?"

pole whacking

First coined in the award-winning educational documentary "G.N.A.R.", pole whacking is the act of testing the shredability of snow with ski poles. Usually the action is performed at the top of a sick line.

"I'm so ready to whack my pole on that fat white powder at Squaw this season ."

"All the dudes at snow club love getting together for some hot pole whacking action every January."
