Mermaid

Transport Inspector:
Like a Mermaid, a Transport Inspector, or Transport officer is a "Cunt with Scales" by the fact that their personality trait is a "Cunt" (See Cunt as used in Australia denoting a person with an abrasive attitude) and Scales with which used to weigh a vehicle.

Reference to Mythical mermaids which are half female women, and half fish.

The Cunt here is a double entendre as a female woman's vagina is also known as a Cunt.
1. The Mermaids are out setting up the weighbridge.
2. Pads are hot and the mermaids are calling

Mermaid

A female merperson. A mythical female spirit with the upper-body of a human, as well as the lower-body of a sea creature (usually a dolphin) who lives in a waterway (usually the sea) and usually has benign musical enchantment powers, (e.g. the power to bless, heal, guide & protect others, especially sailors by their beautiful singing or playing of music).
'The mermaid sat on the rocks, along the shore gazing at the moon and magically guiding the sailors towards a safe journey by the grace of her beautiful song.'

(Notes: Mermaids aren't to be confused with sirens who only use their musical enchantment powers for evil. Please read my definition of a siren for comparison.

Also, some mermaids have human legs, as well as live and breathe underwater as 'mer-maid' means 'woman from the sea', in old English.

Lastly, there are male merpeople who fit this entire definition, except that they aren't female).

Mermaid

/ˈmə meɪd/ (noun), mermaiding (intransitive verb)
To repudiate any connection or identification with another (the subject of the mermaiding). Can be expressed non-verbally, through presenting the subject with a GIF depicting King Triton from the Little Mermaid holding a three-pronged weapon, with which he casts a rainbow in bidding farewell.

Mermaiding entails no future contact in any form with the subject. Ideally, you should undergo electro-convulsive therapy or a surgical (or pharmaceutical) lobotomy to erase their existence from your life.

This is a last resort end to all future contact and should not be taken lightly.

In the words of King Triton, 'mermaiding' someone allows you "one less human to worry about" .
