It is greatly believed that the term was fist invented by Tom Robinson (Manchester) who started by telling people to start to use it on the internet and other documents to try to get it spread as fast and as well as possible. It is used in a lighthearted sense to people who are not clinically disabled. Merely people who are known for doing stupid or dopey things, but is sometimes incorrectly used offensively.

Person 1: "How could you fall over that!?"
Person 2: "I don't know"
Person 1: "Oh, your such a spesh."
