Shi means food while Gongzi often refer to the son or daughter of the feudal class People would address to them as "Gongzi" (young master). Ancient people in opinion that it took three generations to be officials, only they could cultivated refined taste and became epicure.
Jacky Liew (廖城兰) was the earliest person who used "Shi Gongzi" as his pen name since 20 century 80s' to write the food articles . Get the Shi Gongzimug. an alcoholic beverage mixed by someone whose had way too much to drink. this beverage often contains Captain Morgan, Smirnoff, chocolate milk, tequila, etc. it's a gross mixture, i wouldn't recommend it.
