Ignorating

The social, economic and political act of the reinforcement and entrenchment of ignorance in culture by engaging in conversations and correspondence that precludes actually knowing what the fuck you are talking about. A major skill for desperate people trying to keep their job, truly afraid of being seen as a pariah and becoming an outcast.

Ignorap

A sub genre of hip-hop and rap music. Ignorap is a portmanteau of "ignorant" and "rap". It generally consists of singing the same few lyrics repeatedly or screaming strings of lyrics which generally refer to violent or sexual situations. This is usually done in an attempt to prove that the artist is "hard" or "from the street". This is usually done in vain, because as the name suggests, it just ends up sounding ignorant.

Ignorap is not always bad music, however it is quite difficult to create enjoyable ignorap.

Person 1: "have you heard those 6ix9ine tracks, 'GUMMO' or 'BILLY'?! They're super gangster, bro."

Person 2: "oh yeah, bro, for sure. Those are the hottest new track on Ignorap radio."

Person 1: "I think he just passed Lil' Pump on the Ignorap charts!"

Good Ignorap: Kevin Gates, Lil' Wayne, 21 Savage, etc...
