He was a young man from South Korea who moved to America during childhood, and, in his early twenties, shot 32 people and himself at Virginia Tech. He is considered the perpetrator of the worst school shooting in American history. Before his shooting rampage, he had been described as a loner, and had also received mental health treatment because of his suicidal tendencies.

The 23 year old Korean born senior student at Virginia Tech University who was responsible for the mass murder of 32 Virginia Tech students and faculty on April 16th, 2007. He then killed himself as police were closing in. It was the deadliest school shooting in U.S. history, and its impact was felt nationwide. Fifteen other students were injured from jumping out of the second story floor to avoid being shot. Cho was armed with two semi-automatic pistols and had spare ammunition.

Cho Seung-hui (January 18, 1984 – April 16, 2007), was the perpetrator of the Virginia Tech massacre of April 16, 2007, in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States, according to police reports. He committed suicide after law enforcement officers breached the doors of the building in which he had already killed and wounded many staff and students.
