When one moves from their computer to their television (or vice versa) usually due to boredom.

When Jess resorted to playing Freecell on his computer he knew it was time for a change of screenery and made his way to the couch for a Battlestar Gallactica rerun on The Space Network.

screenwriter

A person who writes scipts, that is, the dialogue and actions of a movie. First drafts are often quite different to the final script which becomes a film, but the plotline usually stays similar.

Compared to directors and actors, screenwriters are way down in the food chain of fame, recognition, and money.

screever

An English term for pavement artist, chalk artist, street painter, also known as a sidewalk artist in the US, or madonarri in Italy. A busking artist who creates original or reproduction artworks, typically for public donations.

"Today I'm a screever, and as you can see, a screever's an artist of 'ighest degree" - sings Bert in Mary Poppins, in the song Chim-chimeny.

The word is also used in George Orwell's "Down and out in London and Paris", and can be found in some older English dictionaries.

screentrance

A phenomenon that happens when you stare at a computer screen when keybored and you become cross-eyed. You are about to fall asleep, only your eyes are partly open.

Then it appears that the guy staring in the screen is in a trance from the view of another guy.

A Guy: Is he okay?
Another Guy: I think so. He's probably in a screentrance.
