Schwag 

A bread product, in particular a demi-baguette, usually cut open lengthways and served with a choice of uninspiring fillings such as egg mayo, tuna mayo and cheese & tomato.

The common schwag is usually mass-produced and sold in a partially-baked and frozen form as a cheap and convenient profit-making solution for takeaway / short-order food outlets, and those with a captive market such as pretentious cafés at tourist hotspots.

Schwags are usually purchased by hangry and desperate people who've found themselves with no alternative at the time.

"I'm starving. I'm gonna go grab a quick schwag before I pass out"
