Methadonia

The state of mind the drug Methadone puts you in. Methadonia is a replacement to the high that heroin or a fist full of pain killers will give you. The methadonia "high" is goverment controlled and each user documented and monitored. Methadone can be a cure or it can be a crutch depending on how the user wants to take advantage of it. Their are big differences in each patient of these programs. (The writer of this is a user or "patient" whatever you want to call me)

A synthetic opiate intended to replace opiate based prescriptions or street drugs, so that an individual can be slowly weaned off and avoid withdrawal symptoms.
Often used as a fix between fixes. Its not uncommon for an addict to be on methadone and still using they're drug of choice.

A person who is on methadone maintanence and uses methadone as their drug of choice, is extremely lethargic and can be found in a stupor, zombie like all day long. Can usually be found either standing, leaning or nodding out on a corner not far from the clinic. Methadonian is a term found most commonly in the ghettoes of New York City, where there are more methadone clinics than anywhere else in the World. Just as there are crackheads, dope fiends and speed freaks, there are Methadonians.
