n. A derogatory label for an uneducated, unrefined person. The word orginally referred to people from the Southern California town of Mentone, near San Bernardino--a locale occupied mostly by people of lower educational and economic level. Similar in meaning to "hillbilly" or "white trash."

weed mentor

A person in your life (usually older than you by a few years) that takes you under their wing and teaches you all they know about marijuana. Lessons include: 'how to smoke', 'how to roll a joint', 'how to satisfy the munchies' and 'how to make your own bong'.

Duder 1: "So what are we doing here at your friends place?"

Duder 2: "Check this."

Duder 1: "Whoa dude is that what I think it is? I don't know how to use that."

Duder 2: "Don't worry man, I'll be your weed mentor."

mentos bombing

The art of doing idiotic things in public and then flashing a roll of Mentos at people that start to stare at you. See also mentos flashing.

The two usually resorted to mentos bombing when getting in trouble, as it didn't help any but some found it amusing.

Mentors

A porno metal band that sounds like Black Sabbath meets Hustler magazine that formed in the late 70s. Originally fronted by a bald bearded beer gut voclist/drummer guy known as El Duce. Who later got ran over by a train and killed back in April 1997. Also in the band was Dr Heathen Scum on bass and Sickie Wifebeater on guitar. The Mentors biggest claim to fame was back in 1985 when somebody during the Tipper Gore's PMRC congressional hearings read the lycics to "Golden Showers", from the album "You Axed For It".

Dr Heathen Scum still continues the Mentors band with a whole new crew.
