The Gruff Stage

The Gruff stage is a stage in ones life and or career where the get the fucking shit roasted out of them and our constantly messed with. It is a very hard time for everybody.
"Dude why the hell did that guys family get raped?" "Oh he's in the gruff stage."

An industry that pretends to be on your side, rooting for you instead of the events that make the industry possible (storms, crime, death, accidents, bad news).
The grief/tragedy/sympathy industry is a business, not a friend.
