(v.) To slack off by wasting time idely, sometimes through electronic means like video games, or through alcohol, doing absolutely nothing, or sleeping excessively. To goof off is to pass the time through the most unproductive means possible.

I completely goofed off in college, devoting my life to slime volleyball, Soul Calibur 3, and ultimate frisbee instead of academics. Now I'm a level 3 barbarian living in a shack by a tucked away creek in Intercourse, Pennsylvania. It was totally worth it.

I totally goofed off. It's three in the morning and I'm still reading hysterical defs on urbandictionary.com.

To goof off is to live life to the fullest.

Goof

The Canadian equivalent of the american term, punk. A word used in the Canadian prison system to describe informers, molestors, child killers and all inmates segregated from the general population in protective custody. In a looser sense, anyone who has become hated by the prison population in general for suspect behaviour, or irritating behaviour may be thought of as a goof.

To be called a goof, espescially if not true must be met by instant violence or you will lose all respect formerly given to you. If this isn't done, or you are incapable of defending yourself you may as well "check in." (ask to be moved to P.C., protective custody)

" You'd better check in dude, that guy called you a goof and you didn't answer." "That was a big mistake, even if you had ended up taking a beating it would have been better than doing your bit in p.c. with all those goof rats, skinners and kiddy diddlers." "Oh yeah, by the way, don't talk to me anymore. I don't want to be seen talking to a goof from p.c."

The Goof-Clap

The outrageously wack hairstyle typical of fuck boys, douche-bags, hipsters and goofs. The goof-clap is where the sides and back of your hair are shaved to stubble or skin, and a short tuft of hair on the top of your head is all that remains. Unless you have been living in a bomb shelter all your life, you have definitely seen individuals sport this hairstyle before. Popular (but not exclusive) within youth culture as a means of feeling a sense of community and belonging. If you sport the goof-clap and are proud of it: you should perpetually feel miserable for the rest of your life. If genocide of haircuts was at all possible or feasible, I would fully endorse it to ensure the eradication of this continuing to be a prominent hairstyle of both males and females.
