cheadle

verb

1. to be silent, morose and sad in a sulking manner; often from the feeling of being ignored.

*term derived from the expression on actor, Don Cheadle's, face in the 1997 film, Boogie Nights, when he is asked to monitor the telephone receiver.
"Okay, so she broke your heart. You can sit here and cheadle around or get over it!"
