Simply put, going beyond the impossible is when one decides to, say, make a giant robot several hundred thousand light years tall. Yes, I am referencing Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
This can also apply to going Gatling guns akimbo, playing "Sweet Child of Mine" with one's teeth, and even a functional, simultaneous One Man Band.

BB:FOF was a one hour show. It would show five stories (known as "segments") that were inspired by actual events (supposedly) that were "Beyond Belief". Some would be fact, and some would be fiction. It would be revealed with segments were fact or fiction at the end of the show.
The show premiered on May 1, 1997 and was last aired on September 1, 2002. FOX originally was broadcasting the show, but Sci-Fi eventually took over. The last marathon of BB:FOF ever put on Sci-Fi was back in August of 2005.
Sometimes, BB:FOF is ended with a question mark. It would sometmes be known as: Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction?
James Brolin was the original host, but Jonathon Frakes eventually replaced him.

Get the Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction mug.A reality show where defiant teens are forced to spend a day (and sometimes a night) in jail, interacting with convicted felons who give them first-hand experience of life behind bars with the hope that they see where the path of destruction they are headed down could lead them.
It fun to watch Beyond Scared Straight and see troublesome and stupid brats get a much-needed attitude adjustment by visiting prison and getting verbally abused by inmates and prison staff.
