People who believe that the movie Avatar causes depressive and sucidal thoughts, and or people who feel that living on Pandora would be easier than dealing with and fixing the problems we face in the REAL world...

DEPRESSION IS AN ILLNESS PEOPLE NOT A CONDITION CAUSED BY A MOVIE!!! EDUCATE YOURSELVES. IF YOU FEEL DEPRESSED GET HELP DO NOT BLAME IT ON A MOVIE

Although it may seem as if I am making fun of others who may be depressed by calling them "Avaturds", I assure you I AM NOT. I am trying to bring attention to the fact that Depression is an illness. A person with depression who watches the movie AVATAR may slip into a deeper depression due to his or her longing to escape reality - this is a sign, a HUGE sign that they need help. Suicide solves NOTHING. It only hurts the ones left behind...

(Noun) Term for people who suffer from depression after watching the movie Avatar, claiming that the real world isn't as beautiful and vibrant as the fictional world of Pandora.

Jim wouldn't touch his dinner after seeing the movie, the drab colors on his food seemed unappealing compared to the beautiful palette on Pandora; Jim had become an Avatard.
