Trippy

A fairly old term meaning groovy, rad, cool, weird, etc. Referencing a psychedelic experience or item. Mostly used to make fun of the 90's and early 2000's, and primarily used in a sarcastic manner.

"Dude, my new iPhone doesn't have a headphone jack"
"That's pretty trippy, man."

Comes from the word "tryptamine", which is a toxin found in the mushrooms that give a hallucigenic affect when ingested. Once origianally discovered, this fungi was named "magic mushroom".
