Tanorexic

A person who is so afraid of having white skin (whether delusively or realistically) that they tan themselves constantly, far more than what is deemed healthy.

- "I see that girl at the tanning salon EVERY day! She is so tanorexic."

- "I'm afraid I'm becoming tanorexic, I can't go more than a few days without tanning before I start to feel pale!"

Tanorexic

Tanorexia nervosa is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a tanning disorder characterized by a distorted tone perception and the persistent thought that no matter how dark a person gets, he or she still believes they are not tan enough.
The social repercussions usually lead to disillusionment and depression on the part of the friendless, Tanorexic individual and more seriously, severe health problems.
