1. one of the best nba teams in the past few years. ave won what, 4 out of 9 championships? pretty good.
2. this gay football (soccer) team from england, that always has sucked and always will, and whos fans talked down to arsenal and chelsea fans, despite the fact that the latter two own the spurs. full name is the tottenham hotspurs

Spurs

1. A huge football team located in North London. Main rivals are Arsenal and Chelsea (arsenal SEEMS more intense, but Chelsea vs Spurs is even worse, according to many). Least successful out of the 3 largest clubs in London (note - when I say largest, it is purely revenue based, nothing to do with history or trophies won)
2. A huge sports team located in San Antonio (I'm not from America i don't know if this is correct). Apparently they are also really successful, yet I cant confirm this

Tottenham fan : "spurs is the best!"
San Antonio fan : "agreed!"
Arsenal fan : "wait there are MORE THEN 1 SPURS TEAMS?!?!?!?"
Tottenham fan : "wait what?"
San Antonio fan : "I think he got mixed up. San Antonio spurs isint a football/soccer team whatever you call it"
Arsenal fan : "oh, sorry for the misunderstanding"
Tottenham fan : "no problem"

Spurs

NBA Basketball team who has won 2 championships, and one *championship in the last decade. A very old team (average age) with a Solid coach, boring Center/Forward (who looks like the sea-hag on Popeye), and other misc euro trash players. (yes argentina is lumped in there). The best thing about the Spurs is their point guard's wife.

Damn... did you see Kobe light up them Spurs again last night? Too bad that will probably be their last trip to the playoffs for quite a while.
