stitch up 

A set up, a trick. If someone stitches you up, then they're playing you for a fool. It's often used when framing someone for a crime.
"I don't believe it, Dave! I was at home all night, I swear! I'm being stitched up!"

To utterly drop one of your mates into a situation they can't handle without great embarassment and personal liability. (by telling the truth or just blatantly lying)

stitch up

2. To repair something through the use of a needle and thread.

Bhill stitch up 

When an individual is required to complete a task or a favor, but the task or favor ends up ranging from the slightest inconvenience, to a waste of your time.
“Hey slim, you able to grab us a carton from the bottle-o. Take my car
Car has no fuel: Bhill stitch up
Car is barely in working order: Bhill stitch up.
Traffic on the road: Bhill stitch up
Detour on the way to bottle-o: Bhill stitch up.
No cold cartons: Bhill stitch up.

Stitch Up 

An Australian term for when someone just barely salvages an otherwise bad situation

Stitch Up 

To perform a 'Manners'.

To pass on a task or job onto somebody that already has too much work or stress without the request job to be passed on. The job is passed on without consent hense the 'stitch up'
To Stitch Up is to ot turn up to work when something needs to be done that day, having not told anyone about certain jobs that need to be done so it gets picked up by someone else who has no choice.
