1: a slang term for someone who thrives on creating and being involved in all areas of the music industry, including culture, art, technology, and the politics thereof.

studio magic 

that thing that can make a guy off the street sound like Chris Brown, or some woman sound like Mariah Carey. That's why singers always sound better on CD than live on-stage.
Guy: Sometimes I wonder why singers always sound different on CD than in real person.
Guy2: Well that's because of studio magic. It can make anybody sound like they sing good. Even insert famous singer here.
Guy: Meanwhile the regular people with real singing talent are practically living in their cubicles or can't get a break.

studio gangsta 

Someone who talks about drugs, guns, violence but really hasn't lived that life. He/she may have grown up in a rough area but wasn't bout it, bout it. One who portrays to be hard on songs but hasn't committed a class A, B, C, D or E felony.

Studio 54 

The greatest night club to have ever existed!!!! The night club that started all night clubs, that gave birth to and nurtured Disco music.
1) Studio 54 is the only place to dance.
2). MDA is what made Studio 54 such a great party.
3). If you're not pretty or sexy or famous, dont even bother trying to get in to Studio 54 while Stevie's on the door.

Studio Band 

A band that uses several computerized programs to pitch correct and Autotone vocals as well as perfect instrumentals, but when preforming live (out of the studio) sound like a poor, inebriated rendition of their recorded album.
Did you see the Superbowl XLV halftime show? Fergie sounded like she was pushing out a rabid ferret! The Black Eyed Peas showed the world just how big of a studio band they are.
