Describing some one very stern or strict. Often used to describe parents or authorities.

> Hey, are you going to the show tomorrow?
< No......
> Why not? They're only in town for a couple weeks.
< No, see, it's just my parents. The damn assholes have sticks up their asses!
> Oh that sucks.
< Yeah, tomorrow I'm going to one of them and say, "You know, you really have a stick up your ass." and they'll be like "Oh...."

Stick up your ass

When someone simply will not budge or admit wrongdoing, despite knowing very well that they're wrong and that fact being plain obvious. When someone is being extremely stubborn for no reason, especially for something relatively minor, they have a stick up their ass.

Dave: Son I want you to go pick three dandelions and bring them back to me, I can't because my back hurts.

Son: No dad, I don't want to.

Dave: oh come on you can't just do it, it's three flowers son.

Son: No, I don't feel like it, do it yourself

Dave: Son, why do you have a stick up your ass? It's such an easy and simple task that you'd already be done with if you didn't argue with me.

stick up her ass

Describes a female that acts too stiff or strict towards other individuals and can drive you crazy if you spend too much time with her since she is so annoying. Usually raised by a stern family that made her watch documentaries on boring crap and has friends that also have sticks up their anal holes as well, if any friends at all. No one likes this girl and if they could they would wish her off the face of the earth. Also this girl never curses or uses slang, for that would not be proper. Uses too good of English and Grammar, as well as long vocabulary/old school talk. If you are one of these people with a rod up your rear end you should go get some therapy and loosen up to have fun once in a while. End of story.

Girl with Stick up her Ass- "Did you see that documentary on the paper clip last night? It was so interesting, I watched it with my parents while eating fat-free popcorn."
Boy- "Dude, you need to get a life and not be so proper. No one thinks you're cool, including me, and need to pull the stick out of your ass hole reallll soon."
