stabby

The feeling one has when one is in a particularly bad mood about wither nothing or something. It doesn't matter. You are feeling borderline homicidal. Ideas of stabbing things to relieve the seething anger come to mind.. Then you get distrated or blog about it and it goes away.

I was cut off many times today on my way to work, then I spilled coffee on my white shirt. It would be a bad idea to piss me off today because I am feeling stabby right now.

Aunt Stabby

That one black sheep member of the family that nobody talks about and never gets invited to family gatherings. May have done time in a mental institution or prison for stabbing someone.

long stabby thing

Can be used to refer to any form of weapon - especially a knife, golf club, baseball bat or even a spouse - that can be used to fend off thugs at the unlikely time of 3 in the morning. (Brought up by morning show host Karl Stefanovic and unintentionally taken way out of context by fellow news anchor Georgie Gardner on Channel Nine's Today Show in February 2011.)

(1) I grabbed this long stabby thing that I have next to the bed just in case someone breaks in.
