desk siesta

A term refering to an after-lunch nap in which a worker props their feet up on their desk and leans back in their chair. The desk siesta is most often taken by workers with an office door.

Joanne always gets sleepy after lunch, so she likes to take a desk siesta each day to perk herself up.

When a male is urinating, there is the main stream that goes in the pointed direction, and the small trickle tgoes elsewhere, usually on the seat of the toilet or one's clothing.

Person 1: Dude what did you spill on you shoe?

Person 2: Oh I was taking a piss and got some sidespray on my sneakers.

Siesta Mode

After a heavy meal during a lunch break (usually 60 minutes), one would return to there work desk.

Shortly after sitting down, tiredness would kick-in and prevent you from doing any work.

Thus entering Siesta Mode.

Times can vary, normally Siesta Mode peaks after 2pm.

Guy1 - That was a textbook lunch from the pub
Guy2 - Tell me about it!
Guy1 - Proper Siesta Mode now!
Guy2 - True, think I will lie down on my keyboard now.
