A style of parenting that provides a full spectrum of emotional and psychological experiences to a child vis-a-vis the parents’ instability and addictions which lays the groundwork for years of in-depth psychotherapies in which the child, throughout their lifespan, has the opportunity to undo the warp and find some semblance of balance and potentially, a sense of a true self.

Yup, at our house it was nose-to-the-grindstone discipline during the week and then Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride when the weekends rolled around; my parents were practicing devotees of Jekyll and Hyde Parenting.

when parents are couldn't care less what completely absurd things their children do, and do nothing whatsoever to protect/supervise their children.

at the beach, some little girl about 3 or 4 years old went way too deep into the water and almost drowned, no adults were around to help her, "that's some jessi slaughter parenting right there, someone's just letting their kid drown."

The process of repeating information or behavior with minimal or zero comprehension of the subject matter (much like the parrot bird repeats human speech).

Parrotic information or behavior results in a cascade effect influencing the percentage of humans that find the information or act reasonable enough to parrotically propagate to others.

Even a small parrotic event can lead to death. Example: law enforcement takes lethal action based on parrotic information.

Large scale parrotic events can and have lead to war. But, in that context is more commonly defined as : propaganda.
