A real small town in the heart of Maryland. everyone knows everybody and there are no real secrets. The town revolves around one thing: Sherwood High School, so much so that in the middle of tiwn theres a board that always says go warriors. On a friday night youll find 80% of the town (the rest are 2 old to leave their retirement homes) at the football game where the crowd gets wild. Its a great place to live, unless your a foreigner, due to the high tension in the high school between the esol and normal students foreigners are often kicked out of the group and left to die on their own. Everyones got a lottle but of country in them in this town and everyone (eventhough some deny it) loves Olney

A place in the middle of nowhere in Maryland. sorry guys^ but no it is not a rich place. yes people may hav big houses and nice cars, but that is only becuz the cost of living is so cheap that even a truck driver can afford a nice house. the people arent rednecks, but are not affluent. if you drive a bmw and live in a masion that duznt mean your rich. if you drive a bmw and live in a mansion NEAR A CITY, yes u r rich. olney is a place where people live in there own little world and have there own views of rich and poor and usually stay in olney throughout their lives

i used to live in olney and had no clue how much of a piece of shit middle of nowhere town it was, until i moved and saw what rich is (nice suburbs of DC-potomac/bethesda) , and what poor is (driving to basketball games in pg county)

Olney aka "ahl-knee" is an "affluent" town in Montgomery County, MD, which is often compared to Bethesda and Potomac often, but supposed to be compared with southeast. Lame ass town which there's nothing to do but go to a sherweed game. Mcmansion central, due to it stereotypically having more mcmansions per capita. Houses 2 shitty ass schools, sherweed and good counsel. Everyone is either a dumb blonde or a "my dad is a lawyer" kid. Everyone's a snob, because they have a "mansion", and thing the world revolves around them, like odetari said. This is just a little bit about olney. I've more to say, but cant put here.
