A word used to describe someone who is profoundly stupid, acts in ways that mimic that of retardation and seem to be living in his own mental world. These individuals tend to not realize they are nibs as they think their actions are normal, however, to the outside world they seem odd. Some common characteristics of these individuals include having no sense of reality or the real world, doesn’t participate in other activities and prefers to stay locked in their room, occasionally makes funny comments which to them seems serious.
This word originated as a short-form of “nibba” which was a comedic alternation and politically correct form of “nigga.” However “nibba” is usually used typically for white teenager boy who have no sense of reality or real world which became popularized through Instagram.
