newfoundland

An Island on the Atlantic east coast of Canada. In 1949 they became Canadians but before that they were administered by U.K. Economy based on natural resources and tourism. Fishery collapsed in the 80's and never recovered. Fortunately oil exploitation expanded and helped the province finances a little bit but prices fell in the last 4 years and the province struggles financially again. Most folks in NFLD are nice but not more than any other places in Canada just the same. Also like any other place in Canada, NFLD has its quota of complete assholes and racist idiots just the same.

Newfoundland can be a really fun place but it can also be a hell hole filled grumpy folks constantly complaining about mainlanders.

newgrounds.com is a website where any user may view shockwave games and animations.

Registered users may write reviews based on Sound, graphics, overall...etc, on a
1-10, the review also includes a comment. Registered users may also submit flash videos.

Flash Videos rated below 1 for too long are blammed (also see: blam), Highly Viewed Movies may get spotlights, newgrounds also features free music, sound effects, tutorial and 'The Newgrounds Pre-loader'. Users may submit their own content (including sounds and music) but the content must be their work, and not stolen.

Newgrounds

A large community website that is famous for the variety of flash cartoons and games presented on it by it's users and (sometimes) it's creators. Although famous for it's reputation of being an offensive website in it's early years, recently it has developed into an extremely well-done site for all ages (if you look at the rating system) It plays host to over 250,000 cartoons and games. The famous Numa Numa Dance was first broadcasted on the site. It is also famous for being thieved upon by websites like Ebaum's World and Flashplayer. Creators Tom and Wade Fulp have created 2 console flash games.

Mike: Man did you see that awesome cartoon on Newgrounds that came out last week?
Tom: But ebaums said it was made today.
