Not the dying US department store, but in New Zealand and Australia, Kmart is one of the best things to ever exist. So many shiny things for your aesthetic, not to mention the $2 gumball jars. Honestly, we don't even deserve Kmart. Their stores are bright, and always full of basic millennials. They look absolutely nothing like their dying US counterparts. You could fill your house with Kmart furniture and your life would be complete. Where else could you get a 2m rainbow charger for less than $10? What about a unicorn phone ring for $1?

Kmart sliders

During the 1980s, poorly made athletic shoes sold at Kmart, usually under the brand names of athletix, trax, or dynamax. The nickname sliders was derived from observing the less-fortunate kids who wore them in gym class, sliding all over the floor due to the poor quality of the soles.
Rodney missed school today because he slid into the bleachers and hit his head while playing floor hockey in gym class, likely as a result of wearing Kmart sliders.
