A jittery idiot. A jitterot is typically an overworked engineering student who becomes tired from too much studying and consumes caffine to wake up and continue studying. Upon caffination, the student realizes that he/she has studied too long and is becoming dumber by the minute, yet is wide awake. Now the would-be engineer is no longer able to think and is reduced to aimless form of calculator/equation masterbation--he is a jitterot.

I studied all night and drank Mt. Dew to stay awake. The next thing I knew, I could't add 2 + 2 and was a wide awake jitterot.

Usually, they are seen just hanging around places that they shouldn't be, or can't afford to be (both from an economical and law enforcement standard). This pathetic creature is usually best spotted in the back of a police cruiser, which should induce you to yell out to the cop driving..."Hey that's the guy that tried to rape my cheerleading high school sister, but the football team punter kicked his little ass."

Cop1: "Man, look at those little bastards...I wish they'd go home to their mommies or something."

Cop2: "Yeah, they are a bunch of jitterbugs."
