Not to be mistaken with homeostasis (n.)

The delicate domain of equilibrium within a heterosexual person that prevents them from being too insecurely homophobic and being too obnoxiously gay in social situations.

i.e. Right between acting too straight and too gay

Todd and I had to share a tiny couch at a friend's place the other night but it's alright - I said "no homo" so I didn't break homostasis.

Homiehostasis

The state of balancing one's social life between friends of the same sex and sexual deviants of the opposing sex. Homiehostasis can only be achieved normally by people with too much free time, as if one has any responsibilities they choose to attend to, they will receive complaints from the side they choose to disengage from. Homiehostasis put simply is managing your interactions of both your bros and your ho's.
Synonymous with Bromehostasis.

Man, I have been keeping the bros before ho's, my homiehostasis is out of wack.
Bro, my homiehostasis has been on point lately, I have achieved nirvana.

Homieostasis

A relatively stable state of platonic relationship between two individuals wherein one member of the relationship ejaculates in the other's anus and the other, in return, ejaculates in the first's anus.
