Hater

A word used by the common herd(idiots) who can not think of any other way of defending something questionable(idiotic). Hater is commonly used against fellow humans that have their own opinion differing from the words user's opinion or the common herd's.

Me: "That primer grey yugo with the shopping cart wing is ridiculous."

Idiot: "DUDE!!!! y r u alys h8in on dis ride??? Your Gust a J3alous hater!!!

Me: "What?"

Hater

A person that develops a strong dislike for another, solely basing their own opinion on personal judgment rather than objective merit. The formation of a hater's contempt commonly arises from jealously and/or resentment. Individuals that make fun of, or "hate," others for justified reasons cannot be legitimately classified as "haters;" although many faggots attempt to rationalize their own situations by doing so. Additionally, the word "hater" is frequently overused, mainly by members of the rap and hip-hop communities.

John is a hater of the 'Jersey Shore' MTV cast because they have more money than him, not because they are incredibly fucking annoying.

A word used by stupid people. Roughly translated it means:

"What you just said reflected badly on me/somebody that I like and I have no argument whatsoever to defend them. This, however, will not stop me from trying."

"Hey Hitler, what the fuck is this Genocide all about? You sick cunt!"

A word that contradicts itself because you're accusing someone of ''hating'' what you like then go off and say you hate them. Therefore, you're a hypocrite. It's also overused by most people (dumb asses) who listen to mainstream rap & pop.

7th Grader: Hey did you listen to that new song all the 7th graders are talking about?!

Smart guy: Yes, and it sucks horribly!

7th Grader: You're just a hater!

Smart guy: And you're a ignorant little kid...

Hater

"Hater" is an insult often used by people who are too emotionally attached to a celebrity to accept any criticism of that celebrity no matter how true the criticism is. It is also often used even if the "hater" qualifies their criticism with a positive statement that far outweighs any negative statement made. To call someone a "hater" is an implicit accusation of jealousy, bitterness, and (in some cases) racism. In situations where the "hater" is actually more financially, academically, or socially successful than the accuser, the irony of that fact will always fly over the accuser's head.

Example 1:

A Miami Heat fan: "Steve Nash is one of the best point guards to ever play the game of basketball, but I think that Shaquille O'Neal deserved the 2005 Most Valuable Player award more than Nash."

A Phoenix Suns fan: "You're just a hater".

Example 2:

Me: "Eminem is possibly the best white rapper to ever live, but he is not the greatest rapper of all time."

An Eminem fan: "Shut the #@!$ up, hater."

hater

not a word but is still used far too much and each time is increasingly annoying. Said to be jealousy, but could be someone who just points out the stupidity in what someone else is doing, successful or not.

side note to people who use this term, just cause someone doesnt like a certain artist or person it does not mean they are mad they are successful- it might just mean they dont like their music and or style or how they go about things.

me- "man lil wayne sucks dick"

hip hop fan- "o yous a hater"

me-"actually he is a very intelligent person who doesnt use his influence on today's youth as wisely as he could."

Hater

A person who feels anger and/or jealousy for someone who has succeeded in something they have worked hard for.
A being who speaks badly,and/or takes negative actions in attempt to create problems for a successful person.

When you make it out the hood,a friend can turn into a hater.
"T-Bo" dropped a dime on "Big Mike" just because Big Mike was makin some change! T-Bo a hater!
