Foogaboom

A term to describe an act of deception, a scam, or a bogus product.

The term originated in Central Louisiana in the 1990's and was originally used to describe counterfeit crack cocaine intended to fool drug purchasers. The term also appeared in court documents filed in the Court of Appeals case, 'State of Louisiana vs. Albert Jones', May 17, 1995. As crack became less popular, the term lived on. The term is currently used to describe deceit, dishonesty, or scams. And of course, counterfeit dope.

"He tried to foogaboom me." "This ain't dope, this just foogaboom."

oogabooga

a word for in which has no meaning to it. It leans towards an onomatopoeia, and is often used in horror movies. Yet, if you put them in horror movies, i bet they won't take you seriously that much. Thus, you often see it in little kids movies, or some idiot on the street is trying to scare you. That is the point where you walk away and laugh at them.

Person A: Omg, we are in a haunted house
Person B: Oogabooga!
Person A: Nevermind.. this is a waste of our time.
