When something really akwardly dangerous happens and nobody can really recall as to why or what started the outbreak. During etch-a-sketch periods you may be a little scared and just want to leave the situation.

Not to be confused with sketch, which is an entirely different word.

"Why did Chris Brown beat up Rihanna?"
"I don't know, it's pretty etch-a-sketch if you ask me"

etch-a-sketch moment

when a politician straight-faced and blatantly contradicts something they said only a short time before, denies doing so, and it is on tape so you can clearly see what they did. Also known as a "lie".

Romney said the sky is blue on tuesday. On wednesday he said the sky is never blue and he never claimed it was blue.

He did it with a straight face.

We hit rewind and saw exactly what he said both times, yet he denied contradicting himself. It was an etch-a-sketch moment for that politician.

My angry girlfriend went off on a crazy rant, so I had to Etch and Sketch her until she calmed down.

A girl who will say she is in to whatever you are because of the attention she receives. And will give in to whatever. You can usually make out or more with her. Then she can pretend that it didn't happen the next day because she's an etch a sketch ho.
