This is most assuredly applicable in terms of 1) asking a girl or guy out on a date or 2) almost anything Asians do. That’s why Asians are stereotyped as submissive and pushovers, it’s because of this transition phase from thinking about doing something and actually doing it that causes Asians to doubt themselves.
