From old french denier meaning deny, and ancient greek gnosis meaning knowledge. One who refuses knowledge however it is presented to them. One in a state of denial. Deliberately ignorant. (As opposed to an agnostic which is one who simply does not know.)
Creationists. Climate change denialists. Social conservatives. People who refuse to see the evidence of evolution are denignostic.

Get the dognastics mug.Someone who professes ignorance on the knowledge of whether or not any gods exist, or even what the term means. It is a portmanteau of the words "ignorance" (to lack knowledge) and "gnostic," (knowledge pertaining to gods).
Ignosticism is sometimes compared to theological noncognitivism, and while one may be both an ignostic and a theological noncognitivist, they aren't mutually inclusive.
