1) Item/s that were expected to be in good (if not brand new) condition, but were discovered eventually that they weren't.

2)Someone who was once healthy and/or normal but isn't anymore due to unfortunate, traumatic events in his/her life (i.e. physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, drug abuse...u get it).

Me: Personally, i have a theory.
Psychologist: What theory?
Me: I think the exposue to unsupervised and grafic pornografic content at a very young age as given my brain damage.
Psychologist: Good theory.

good damage

good damage comes from popular show bojack horseman. the phrase means damage that helps or contributes to yourself in a positive way. the opposite is bad damage, which only serves to make you an angry, regretful person. plain damage fits in there too. plain damage is just the type of trauma and hurt that just stays there, doing virtually nothing. you remember, it hurts, but it doesnt make you better or worse. kind of like how the meteor that killed the dinosaurs leaves damage on the earth, but the damage changes little to nothing about the area.

therapist: "how would you say your damage has changed you?"
person 1: "id say i have good damage. i think my trauma made me a better person."
