High School Girl Complex

Occurs when a girl of high school age, likes a member of the opposite sex at the same high school age, however when the said member of the opposite sex is also interested, and asks the girl to a dance or movie, the girl declines somewhat politely putting off that she is not interested even though she is interested. Further, she wants him to make a move, but does not want him to make a move, putting the boy in an impossible and lose-lose situation; forcing him to make a choice between rejection, or isolation. The reasoning behind this complex is not yet known.
High School Girl Complex: Jessica likes Albert, Albert knows this, Albert likes Jessica. Albert asks Jessica to a dance put on by the high school, Jessica declines. Albert, confused and perplexed, is unsure about how to continue with Jessica.

Achilles Complex

The condition that some people have where their fatal flaw is hubris. Hubris is having too much pride to the point of thinking that they do not need help and can do anything on their own without outside help, even when the situation is a snipe with a shotgun.

The condition comes from Achilles in the Trojan War where the gods told him he could not kill all of the Trojans without help but he charged on anyways, which led to his death. The pride inside of him made him charge into battle so he could keep his pride instead of lose his pride, and then his honor.

It's probably best to let the person with Achilles Complex to find out their own way that they will need help with the task at hand. If you insist on helping before they ask, you will miss one thing and another will happen. You will miss them actually asking for help (they just rejected all of their pride), and jumping in before they ask will just anger them. All you can do is wait for their call for help. Then, if you are not a douche, you will help. If you are a douche, then you should kill yourself before the person with Achilles Complex does.
Me: Hey check out the hot blondes over by the pool.
Sam: You will just be shot down. Look around.
Me: I'm doing it anyways.
Sam: You really do have the Achilles Complex. Want my help?
Me: Hell no. If I wanted it, I would have asked.
Sam: Ok. Good luck.

imagine complexly

A term coined by John Green in his novel Paper Towns, and thus embraced by nerdfighters everywhere as a truly magical gesture of the miracle of human consciousness.

Imagining someone complexly is imagining them in the terms you might imagine yourself. Things you think about your person, such as dreams, histories, heartbreaks, epic loves, and deepest secrets, are also things you ponder about people you are imagining complexly.
As Leo watched people at the bus stop on a foggy London morning, he imagined the pixie-ish girl of about his age complexly, and suddenly felt he understood the wanderlust behind her sullen, deep set eyes.

Had he not imagined her complexly, his thought process could have probably been something a bit more like "She's probably tired. Kind of pretty, though..." and he would have moved on to the next commuter.

Always imagine complexly.

Messiah Complex

A state of mind/state of being, which within the reality of the individual(s) posessing the 'complex' (sub)consciously feel that they bear the weight of the world and that their actions and words embolden others and may be a significant catalyst of changing the course of the world for the better. While that may or may not at times be true, the individual(s) consistently envision (quasi) prophetic projections of the future which de-synchronize them from what many call 'living in the present' which often in turn leaves them with a constant darkness about them, making it immensely difficult to be content with the world and it's happenings, great or ill. As such, they feel cornered and feel as if there is no option but to take on that role of the 'savior'. Because after all, who else will?

There is however a time and a place for such mentalities, and regrettably, many consider them to either be preachy, delusional, insane, pretentious, or the may align them with any manner of negative perceptions. In some cases the negative perceptions can be warranted, but the world needs more people who believe they can change it for the better.

It would seem that a significant portion of people, at some point either fantasize about or take part in being/trying to be(come) a messiah of sorts, however such thoughts can be very constraining and the 'messiah' will often have the mentality to enact states or efforts of self-sacrifice in hopes that it makes a positive difference.
It seems that 'Ariana' has a messiah complex. She is constantly mentioning of the ills and problems of the world and attempting to inspire others to relate to her cause of helping others save others and attempting to influence others to do the same. She believes the she bears the weight of the world on her shoulders, and believe me, it takes it's toll on her. How could it not? She would be happier if she stopped considering the world at large, for she cannot do it alone. Contentment will first come from solving the miniscule issues. She is right to speak against injustice though.
