1)A strong adverse reaction by child welfare professionals or child representatives caked in bias, privilege, and racial discrimination that is applied to Black, Brown, or poor families and not their lighter or wealthier counterparts.
2)Recoiling from any emotion displays expressed by Black, Brown, or poor families and documenting them as irate, hostile, or other malicious negative terminology that evokes intensive racialized professional scrutiny.
3)A drastic act of retaliation or overcorrection by professionals against a Parent of Color for any deviation from perfection no matter how big or small the offense; recrimination when a Parent of Color attempts to stand up for themselves.
The child welfare professionals reacted with blacklash by reducing parenting time by 2.5 hours after learning that the Parent of Color drank a beer a week ago in response to stress.
