Sephiroth 

1)Poor man's metrosexual humorless Kefka.

2)The spirit of lunatic who died in failure doomed always to fail. (3 for 3 at last count)

3)A disease not unlike lycantropy where the afflicted turns into an insane goth with long gray hair and a longer sword with a fatal weakness to spiky haired blondes and their multistrike sword techniques.

4)The most anticlimatic 'final show down' ever.

1)Everything Seph allegedly did, Kefka did better and said awesomer things while doing them.

2)Sephiroth manifested and failed AGAIN? Gosh, I guess there's room for ANOTHER Final Fantasy 7 sequel.

3)Almost all the 'character development' of Sephiroth in the first two disks except for the flashbacks were actually dopplegangers. And THEY got away with because Cloud wasn't nearby at the time and/or he didn't learn omnislash.

4)"Alright! Finally... all that tension that has been playing out through the game... just Cloud and Sephiroth now... This is going to be a bloodba- what? One Omnislash and that's it? That kinda sucks."

2. In the Kabbalah, a series of writings with rabbinical origins, it describes that reality is composed of 10 dimensions, described in the writings as the Ten Sephiroth.

Sephiroth 

The main villain of the hit PlayStation game, Final Fantasy VII. Considered by many (including myself) to be the best video game character of all time. Not only does he look completely badass, but his character is so complex and so troubled...this kind of darkness and depth were never expected from video games of that era, much less in this era. Sephiroth sets the standard that many game characters are made to reach, most if not all unsuccessfully.

A VERY short story description:
Sephiroth was a troubled man who never knew his true identity...after discovering that he was merely created as part of an experiment and that ancestors of humans were traitors to the planet, he embarks on a journey to eradicate humans from the planet and to merge himself with it. Since his mother, Jenova, was not one of the cowardly ancestors (Cetra), he believes he is the rightful heir to the planet. His evil accomplishments include destroying the entire city of Nibelheim (except for the main characters), murdering the president of the most powerful company on the planet and his former employer, Shinra, and summoning Meteor to destroy the planet.

Basically, Sephiroth is the epitome of badass, and is the character that all video game characters wish they could be.

Bottom line, Sephiroth owns.

Sephiroth 

A contentous yet metriculously evil character from FFVII, Sephiroth tend to be self-absorbed in being a God and tries to kill Cloud and anyone else from reaching his final goal. He wields a masasume and considered himself to be the son of Jenova. Yet, in Crisis Core, he opens up to only a select few like Zack Fair and Angeal.

Sephiroth did kill Aerith, remember?

Sephiroth 

The probably most overrated villain from the probably most overrated game Final Fantasy 7.

Even though he is a villian and an oh so evil genetically mutated madman, all he did was backstabbing a weak girl, burning down a tiny village and guiding a giant rock to the planet to be killed by a spikey haired emo kid and his friends in the end.
He also features the typical disorders of modern JRPG/Anime characters like huge ass swords, bishie look, an oh so tragic past, belts, zippers and leather.
His deep and complex ambition is to become a god. Duh. He also has an oedipus complex.

Sephiroth 

The main villian of Final Fantasy VII, a video game released by Square Enix in 1997. He was a former SOLDIER and mentor for Cloud Strife and Zack Fair, also known for using an abnormally long sword known as the Masamune. However, after he finds out about his true origins, he goes on a genocidal rampage, killing everyone in Nibelheim and the Shinra building. He eventually becomes an all-powerful figure, able to destroy the solar system with Meteor.

As usual, Smash fans think he's just some generic cookie-cutter anime pretty boy, completely unaware of how popular and influential he is.
