Democratic memory loss. Typically afflicts democrats who forget that the Obama administration has not come close to achieving the "change" that was promised.

My dad is voting Democratic in the mid-term elections. He suffers from donkeyheimers, and has forgotten that all things promised by the current administration have not come even close to fruition.
