Someone who you absolutely adore. His smile makes you smile the rest of the day. When you are on the verge of crying, you talk to him. His laugh. It's the cutest but he hates it. His personality. Wow. He starts talking and you get lost. Lost in their eyes. You forget where you are for a moment. He is why you want to get up in the mornings. You want to get up so you can talk to him. He is your everything. But does he know that? No. Are you why he gets up in the mornings? No. Your just someone he talks to in 4th period. Nothing more, nothing less. The feeling you get when you like someone a lot, especially when they might not like you back or you have no chance with them. Some people get nervous or sweaty or start stumbling over words. Other feel butterflies in their stomach maybe start speaking really fast like they’ve had too much sugar or caffeine. You’ll most likely spend way too much time thinking about them. A crush can become an infatuation or turn into love. When you find out how they feel about you, you can be elated or you can be crushed. Some people give up on their crushes cause they figure it’s hopeless. It’s called a crush because that’s the feeling you get when it finally sinks in that they don’t like you.

Person A: Hey, look there’s (crush)!
Person B: Is he holding hands with (name of popular girl in school)?!
Person A: Wait, really? Noooooo
Person B: I’m so sorry
Person A: I guess this is why they call it a crush

We all get them, whether it's in high school, at work, or on that crammed Circle line train the other day. Involves desires to be with them, however, we never get them, due to either rejection, leaving it too late or the girl not being allowed to have a boyfriend. Occasionally breaks our hearts.

A crush is when you have a huge desire to be with someone, that person is your crush. This usually occurs during middle and high school but can occur other ages. When you have a crush, you may have fantasies about that person. This can be having that person returning the feelings or it may be physical or sexual. Sexual is more common, even in middle school because of the hormones changing, sex becomes an embarrassing desire. A crush will only last to a maximum of 2 years. A person may try to bump into their crush on "Accident" or others will take a whole new route just to avoid there crush.

Guy 1: "Why do you always act weird around her."
Guy 2: "No reason. *Blushing*."
Guy 1: "Oh I get it. You have a crush on her."
