also known as "tabbing". When someone starts clapping several seconds before the rest of the group. Tabbing can also refer to when a person starts clapping when it is not appropriate or while someone else is talking.

person doing the tab clap: "CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP"

A small plastic tab that holds electronics together so that they cannot be easily dismantled without breaking the tabs. When the tabs are broken, it usually prompts the person doing the dismantling to say "damnit" hence the name "damnit tab"
