Somebody who pretends to be emo, or makes up false stories about their sucky life. Usually tend to be 12-14, but there are numerous pseudo-emos who can be found in a higher age range. In difference to someone who actually has something like depression, or a disorder that singles them out, pseudo-emos act solely for attention.

Teenager 1: Joe told me his dad beat him last night so he cried so hard and then cut his wrists!
Teenager 2: Yeah, too bad I've known Joe since he was five and his dad is really nice. And his wrists look very untouched for something that happened last night. He's just the classic pseudo-emo kid.

They made claims that forwarded their ignorance and supposed superiority had an air of pseudo-intellectual proclivities.

Annoying hippie type, usually raised as a spoiled brat who uses big words recycled from university text books. While these individuals can appear to be of above-average intelligence they tend to slip when challenged by people with superior intuition. Often describing themselves as being 'epic', they excuse their own shortcomings by regurgitating philosophy and liberal studies.

Pseudo intellectualism is a common hindrance requiring immediate sterilization to insure absolute nullification.
