Bi-pad

A term coined by Steffi.
A serious committed relationship or marriage where two people decide to have separate residences.

“Bi” means two and “pad” is a 60’s slang term for a place to live, ala “bi-pad.”

“I’m looking for a bi-pad relationship.”
“We are bi-padders. I’ve got my place and he’s got his.”
“I love living alone so I choose to be a bi-padder.”
“Bi-padding is the best because you don’t deal with all the day-to-day B.S.!”
