Prostitute Scarecrow

A female ragamuffin whose hair resembles straw in both texture and appearance. The prostitute scarecrow will stand on the side of old country roads and try to entice young farmers with her lumpy hay-filled dungarees and poorly applied makeup.

Found in the east end of Toronto. An entire city (600 000+) of hoodlums, scumbags, druggies, gangsters etc. Also known as Scarborough, Scar-town, Scarlem. Was notorious in the early 90's as the crime capital of Canada. The population is generally low-brow.

In Scarberia it is easy to get into trouble.

Scared Straight

1. Experiences of a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) person "scared" into acting "straight" = scared straight, for a good lot of their life for fear of harassment, bullying, persecution & bullying.

2. A prison documentary about juvenile delinquents that are brought into prison for a whole day & get yelled at by convicts who know first hand what hard life is like in prison with the hopes of derailing their destructive path towards the prison industrial machine.

1. I was afraid of being harassed by those bullies that I was scared straight into hoping they will ignore me.
