Chi-Town 

What people who live in most Illinois suburbs call the city of Chicago in an attempt to seem "hood". People that actually live in the city never call it "Chi-Town" because it is very gay to do so.

Example 1:
Suburban white boy 1: Yo I'm going to Chi-Town tomorrow!
Suburban White boy 2: That's legit bro!

Example 2:
Suburban white boy: Are you from the Chi-Town?
Person from Chicago: No, I'm from Chicago.

Chi Chi 

Affectedly trendy and fashionable. Slick.

It seems that chi chi can mean different things in different cultures, but searching on the net will show many in Western culture use it as per the above meaning, though not always in a complimentary way.

That new resort is too chi chi for me, I prefer a less hip atmosphere.
