The Daily Beatdown

The daily beatdown is what you are required to do that you do not want to do, for most likely 6-8 (or more) odd hours in the day. This ranges from being a student and taking stupid bullshit classes, to maybe working a cash register and checking out stupid people who don't understand why their veterans discount doesn't apply to Haines briefs, to also maybe waiting tables at some shitty restaurant so you can make ends meet and repeat the same undesired process for the same undesired results. Not to mention you have to wake up in the morning to an alarm that is clearly your enemy at an unfavorable time. This is the daily beatdown.

Example A

"Hey how was school today?"

"Ugh the daily beatdown was horrible today. I have so much homework I won't be able to enjoy the nice weather today, and if I don't do it I won't get to pick which college I go to."

Example B

"My soup is cold"
"Um ma'am this soup is served cold."
"Well heat it up will ya?? I've been waiting five minutes for my food and I haven't eaten all day!! Some service???"

Bama Beatdown

The act of defeating a football team that has a battle cry of "Roll Tide, Roll Tide" with an overpaid coach who will surely have numerous NCAA infractions. The team had a ranking of #1 with a Heisman returning running back and a quarterback that hadn't lost a game since the 8th grade.

The University of South Carolina put a Bama Beatdown on the Crimson Tide on 10/9/10 at Williams Brice Stadium by shutting down the running and passing game with a stifling defense while scoring more points on the highly touted team than in the last three years. For those to remember the score was 35-21, not sure what crow taste like but the Tide definitely got a taste of the Gamecocks.

beatboxer

A lazy form of musician who is too poor to afford a drum set and believes that "beats" are one of a number of components of a song along with words and tune. Beatboxers are a dangerous animal to argue with as generally they lack the vocabulary to retort verbally or to otherwise effectively communicate, hence their preference for pre-linguistic means of interaction. Beatboxers therefore favour violence over verbal confrontation although typically lack physical development to be truly threatening therefore making an encounter just inconvenient and unpleasant for all involved.

A: I wouldn't go down that road.
B: Oh why not?
A: There's a beatboxer. First he'll ask you for money for the bus while he makes noises, then when you tell him his art form isn't real he'll shout monosyllabic words and become aggressive. You'll break his nose for sure and get arrested. It's not worth your time.
B: Wow, thanks for the warning.
