When two people are in a relationship but not officially dating. It could be because of unwillingness to conform to the Boyfriend/Girlfriend label.

Person 1: "So I just saw Selna Gomez and that dude from Twilight having lunch together"
Person 2: "Oh I didn't know they were dating?"
Person 1: "Well there's no press release, so I guess they're just scening."

Emo or Scene

Emo means emotional, not that you cut your self for all the dicks out there that think cutting them selves means emo.. Well as I said you're a dick. It's an expression of your feeling.

Scene is a style. It's where teenagers dress like how said dicks would picture an "emo" person. Except the scene kids act normally...

Every girl inbetween 12 and 50 is usually emo for about a week out of every month. For those of you who don't get it I'm talking about when a girl has her period. :)

Some people would say being very colorful is scene.
