When really they are just doing
They follow whatever "the scene" is.
the exact opposite by this because
they think this makes them cool

scene kids usually find themselves original, weird etc, when they are really just normal sane kids.
a lot of "normal" people (who dont know they're scene as well)
think scene kids are stupid.
What really makes them(scene kids) stupid is seeing other
peole dress, or act this way and they are tricked
into liking it as well.

people only talk trash about emo becauz either they dont fully undersand the genre or they see stupid ppl saying there emo cauz its a fad. emo kids do not always cry and arent all ways deppresed and do not cut them selfs 24/7.im and emo kid my self and i live a pritty nomal life the only reason im differant is becauz i dont like popularity im intune with my emotions and im artistic(though so are most ppl so that one doesnt count). i listen to underground and mainstream music as long as its good music. i listen to many forms of rock including emo, hardcore,punk,and metal. although some emo kids may be prity well off that doesnt mean they dont have feelings. u dont have to be poor and have abusive parents to be depressed i hope this has taught all u loosers out there that emo is not just a stupid fad run by preps.

scene boys:
-Tight pants or 3/4 pants (3/4's mostly camo)
-Likes techno and rap but also likes genres like screamo, hardcore and grindcore.
-theres many different hair styles:
spiked at the back and long fringe
flat hair, big fringe
Box/block fringe (straight across eyesbrows or eyes.) longer at the sides.
-has myspace, doesnt always have thousands of friends, but those who do join myspace trains (aesthetic perfection is popular these days)
-arent always gay or bisexual, some of them dislike gays/lesbians.
-hxc scene kids have many piercings, mostly septum, bridge and snakebites.
-Bring me the horizon, hadouken!, Jeffree star ectt = scene bands.
-wears nikes, vans or sometimes converse.
-Indie, emo and scene are all very similiar.
-talks in text language.
e.g: lol, lmfao, rofl, pmsl, wtf, omg ecttt
-kid scene kids get drunk on parks, fields, anywhere secluded. or if they're older they'll have got bored of drinking and get stoned instead.

emo kids are basically emos who are a bit younger and need more time to learn what a real emo is.
we don't all want to committ suicide, or write poetry, or wear black rimmed glasses.. and we don't all cut ourselves.. where the hell you people got that idea from we'll never know..
and even if we do, SO F*CKING WHAT!?
get it into your heads that the stereotypes you hear from the idiots these days ARE NOT TRUE
people who show off cuts, tell everyone that they feel 'oh so depressed today' are posers who want to get attention.
from personal experience, emo kids get all the sh*t from the popular air-headed idiotic chavs around school, who believe stereotypes for the hell of it.
here's my view on self harm..
people who show off their cuts - complete idiotic posing tossers
people who keep them to themselves - absolutely normal
anyone who disagrees with the above are either posers or air-heads who believe in stereotypes
sure, i cry, but thats only because i fall over a lot because my laces wont stay done up, and because people try and trip me up.. and i usually end up bleeding from 7 places on my body
