The Brogan Effect

Any drastic or unusually positive increase in average Joe Schmo blog site traffic as a direct result of a Chris Brogan retweet and/or other digital endorsement via social channels on the crazy interwebs.

When Chris Brogan posts what is below on Twitter, for example, the result is usually what is referred to as The Brogan Effect:

Candlebox Effect

The Candlebox effect is when an individual or group, usually in a theater or sports setting, gets up and starts dancing for no apparent reason. This phenomenon was witnessed during the alternative rock group, Candlebox, show at Celebrity Theater in Phoenix in 2014 , in which a lady was reported to have stood up and danced in her seat during the entire acoustic concert much to the dismay and amusement of other concert goers.
